TEAMWORK. Or how about, "Wonderpets, wonderpets, we're on our way" or "Bob, the builder- can you fix it, YES, we can." These are the songs that play in my head over and over at night when I lay myself down to sleep. They're the songs from Wonder Pets and Bob the Builder-- currently Eli's favorite DVDs. How long will my head be invaded by these songs??? I try to lay down and dream about laying on the beach and hearing the waves crash against the seashore and then suddenly, Eli suddenly appears and lays his sandy wet body all over chest, and in his most innocent voice says, "Whatcha doin' Mommy." Oh the joys of motherhood. So many joys that I don't have much time to blog. I think I would honestly have more time if I just kept Caroline strapped in the Snuggly so that she could get a little snack anytime she wanted. She seems to eat 24/7. And fruit snacks, M&M's and granola (that Eli for some reason called Barbecue) have become vital bribery staples for our household. If you have any better suggestions to get your toddler to stop climbing the furniture while you have your other child latched on-- let me know.
So some highlights from February.... Eli's new favorite hobby is now to take all of his clothes out of the drawers, throw them in a big pile, jump on top, and make clothes angels. Caroline's favorite hobby is to have her clothes off and wiggle her legs like a frog while passing gas. Two weeks ago I had a flaming boob- not in a sexy kind of way, but in a mastitis kind of way. We had a week long visit from my sister who was my saving grace since Scott was out of town the whole week. We also had a visit the next weekend by cousin Grayson, Aunt Christy, Nana and Grandad (see pics below). Nana stayed the week after Grayson and Christy left and is riding back with me to Alabama. We are making the trip today and I am going to visit my parents and finally see my brother and sister-in-law whom we have not seen since their wedding in August (they moved to Phoenix, AZ). Scott has been out of town it seems like for 3 months, but I think things are just running together now. Not that I am counting or anything, but 8 more days until the basketball season is over.... Go CCU!
I have a few pictures below from our adventures the past month.
Bathtime-- yes, a time saver to have to at once. Probably a lot of tee tee going on in that water...Look at my little cuddle bug with Aunt Ems.
Caroline not eating....
Whoever says they can keep a house clean with toddlers is... a liar liar pants on fire.... Eli with Grayson on Valentines, and yes, we let them wear Christmas pajamas...
My reason for not blogging often.....
True teamwork. Nothing like playing a little baseball in some church clothes...
Taking it easy on the front porch.
I am not even attempting to give up the paci now. Whatever works at bedtime....

Omg I just cracked up at this post for about 6 different reasons... we are so ready to see you guys!!! 5 days!
Your post brought tears to my eyes I laughed so hard. I understand about the flaming boob in a not sexy way! You begin to feel like a machine don't you? I guess most days - moms have 2 choices- laugh or cry. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers and glad BB season is almost over for your family.
